Greet the honored guests along with their parent/caretaker, check them in and give them their name badge lanyard, answer any questions they may have. Help the guest connect with their buddy.

Greet buddies, give them their name badge/lanyard and direct them to their team leader for a pre-event meeting, ensuring their assigned honored guest will have the best possible experience!

Greet the guest, take their coat, label and hang it. When the guest leaves the event, ask for their name and retrieve their coat.

Each honored guest should be checked out prior to leaving. Make sure the honored guest receives their giftbag and connects with their parent/caregiver BEFORE the buddy leaves them. Safety for the honored guest is our priority.

Continuously "float" around the main event, dance floor, food area, restrooms, activities and the doors throughout the building leading to the outside. The floaters should offer assistance when and where needed.

Serve food and beverages to the honored guest and buddy in the Student Ministry. Clean up the area as the honored guest and buddy leave the food area.

The takeaway gift bag team is responsible for every aspect of the gift bags, both before and during the event. This may include securing items, stuffing bags, rolling and labeling T-shirts, organizing shirts by size, and preparing the bags for distribution at checkout. They are also responsible for ensuring the bags are given to each Honored Guest at the time of check out.

Treat the honored guests like celebrities and VIP’s as they walk down the red carpet.

Respite Room volunteers act as hosts in the Respite Area (a separate party space for the parents/caregivers), which could include interacting with the caregiver/parents, assisting the caterers with the buffet service, manning the games in the area, distributing "goody" bags to the caregivers/parents, and assisting with any communications between the honored guests/buddies and the caregivers/parents.

Spend time with the honored guest who may be overwhelmed from the excitement of the event. Interact with them by participating in activities, listening to calming music or simply allowing them quiet time.

Maintain a parking pattern and direct traffic for easy entry and exit. Maintain fire and emergency lanes.

Constantly move around the dance floor, food area, and activities. If someone needs assistance, contact a team leader.

Oversee the bathroom areas and ensure the honored guest and buddy are never alone. If a guest requires assistance other than getting in and out of the stall and washing their hands, contact their parent/caretaker.

Ensure that NO honored guest exits any door to outside during the event. The only exit for the honored guest is through the main lobby when they are ready to leave the event and have checked out.

Oversee the various activities for the evening which includes karaoke, photo booth, corn hole, and other activities.
